PowerPlus Busway

PowerPlus Busway can be tailored to suit your needs.  Some of the advantages of PowerPlus Busway are;

Compact Design - The sandwich bar design and cooling fins have resulted in the most compact busway available in its class. 

High Short Circuit Capacity - The one bar per phase design and sandwich construction will withstand high short circuit forces.  PowerPlus busway has been tested to 80kA for 1 second without the need for external protective devices.

Magnetic Field - The compact design minimises magnetic fields. Independent laboratory tests have shown negligible magnetic field generated by the Busway.

Flexible Designs - PowerPlus casing is made from extruded aluminium which allows special components to be manufactured to suit your needs.

Case as Earth - Extruded aluminium casing provides a better capacity earthing medium than sheet steel.  Additionally, the size of the earth is typically 2-3 times larger than the active conductor due to the fins.  PowerPlus earthing system has been fully short circuit tested.

Outdoor Applications - Each section of Busway is factory sealed and the corrosion resistant outer case makes PowerPlus ideal for outdoor applications.  Joints between sections can be easily adapted to suit outdoor applications.

Special Systems - The standard PowerPlus is 3-phase with a full sized neutral.  However DC busway and 3-phase busway with either no, or half neutral systems can also be made.

Low Maintenance - PowerPlus busway is designed and manufactured for long life with minimal maintenance. Periodic inspection and checking of joint bolts is all that is required.

Easy Installation - Simple jointing methods and accurate manufacturing tolerances mean installation is easy.
