Cable Clamps and Cleats

The way cables are fixed into place is very important. Poor clamping can damage the cable or put undue strain on cable terminations or the cable conductors, sheathing or insulation.

Fault currents in Trefoil cable systems can only be properly controlled with the use of tested, fault rated cable clamps.

Secure and easy to use cable cleats ensure data and communications cables are installed rapidly, and free from damage.

All cables from data and communications to LV, HV and EHV cables have special clamping requirements to ensure the safe, long term performance of the cable system.  Intertech is a major manufacturer and supplier of cable clamps to projects in the Oceanic region. CABUS Cable Clamps

• 51 Supergrip Series – Cast Aluminium Single Cable Clamps
  The 51 Supergrip series is a single cable clamp for cable diameters up to 54mm. The clamps are designed to fit into standard channels and have a single bolt locking and support system. The clamps are designed for use in high rise buildings, shafts and tunnels.
• 54 Clamp Series - Cast Aluminium Trefoil Cable Clamps
  The 54 series clamps are designed for trefoil cable configurations, made from corrosion resistant marine grade cast aluminium. Most sizes have a central fixing hole in the base for ease of installation.  Clamps in this series provide bursting strength cable fixing at an economical price.
• 58/59 Clamp Series - Cast Aluminium Single Cable Clamps
  Simple two-bolt fix and locate cable clamp. The 58 series clamp is designed for channel mounting and the 59 series for surface mounting.
• Special CABUS Clamps to suit Large OD Cables to 200mm +. Intertech Engineering can design and manufacture cast or machined clamps to suit special applications. Contact our staff for any application.
• In the 54, 58 and 59 series cable clamps, an optional neoprene liner can be provided for additional protection of cables if required.

Torgy Atlantic ASEPlas Cable Cleats

Torgy ASEPlas Cable Cleats are manufactured from a glass reinforced composite material. The cleats are a high strength design for medium and high voltage cables. As well as conventional single and trefoil applications, the cleats are ideal for bridges, tunnels and masts.

• ASEPlas Cable Cleats - Type C
  Glass reinforced composite cable cleats to support single, medium and high voltage, power transmission cables, typically 33 - 500 kV.
• ASEPlas Cable Cleats - Type U
  Channel mounted, glass reinforced composite cable cleats to support single, medium and high voltage power transmission cables, typically 33 - 500 kV.
• ASEPlas Cable Cleats - Type T
  Glass reinforced composite cable cleats to support trefoil, medium and high voltage power transmission cables, typically 33 - 500 kV.

KOZ Clamps

The KOZ range of clamps are made from light-weight UV resistant galss-fibre reinforced polyamide materail, and are suitable for low, medium and high voltage cables. The clamps are suitable for Indoor and Outdoor installations, and have been extensively tested in UL and KEMA laborities.

• ST Clamps
  The ST clamps are a single way clamps. Each clamp size accepts a wide range of cable diameters, and can be easily stacked.
• TRI Clamps
  The TRI clamps are designed for trefoil cable installations. The clamps are designed to withstand high short-circuit currents and accept a wide range of cable diameters.
• UNI Mounting Blocks
  The UNI mounting block system is designed to house large numbers of cables together. The blocks can be interlocked arrange large numbers of cables in a horizontal spaced configuration, and then can also be stacked vertically.

Prysmian Cable Cleats

The Prysmian range of Multicleat and Multistrap stainless steel clamps available to suit extreme fault ratings.  The cleats consist of a corrosion resistant base with a stainless steel strap for securing either single cables or cables in trefoil arrangements. The strap arrangement provides extreme flexibility in securing a range of cable diameters. Complete pole kits as well as special clamp design services available.
