132kV Terminations in NSW. Intertech completed the supply and installation of a set of 132kV silicon shed terminations at Kellyville in NSW. Kellyville is in the Integral Energy Supply area.

New Brisbane Office. Intertech has now opened a new office in Brisbane.
The office is located at Unit 11, 720 Macarthur Avenue Central, Pinkenba 4008.

The office will provide a base for our Business Development Manager, Bruce Worthington, and our Cable Jointing team.

New General Manager. Congratulations to David Chamberlain who has been appointed as our new General Manager.  David brings considerable experience and technical expertise in the Electrical Industry to the position.

132kV Transformer Refurbishment in Tasmania. Intertech Engineering has supplied and installed 3 oil immersed and 3 outdoor PFISTERER IXOSIL terminations as part of a transformer reconditioning project for Hydro Tasmania.  Intertech also reconfigured the transformer HV box internals to suit the new terminations. The project allowed for increased generation output from the power station.

New Business Development Manager for Queensland. Intertech is proud to announce that Bruce Worthington has joined the company as a Business Development Manager, based in Brisbane. Bruce has had an extensive career in the Electrical Industry and will enhance the company's presence in Queensland. 

E-Safe - Integral Energy. Thanks to all of visitors at the Integral Energy sponsored E-Safe Expo at Rosehill Gardens this week. The Expo was a great success and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.

March 2008

66kV 1 core Oil to XLPE transition joints supplied and installed in Darwin. Intertech in partnership with Power Line Supplies in Darwin, supplied and installed 3 single core oil to XLPE transition joints as the first incoming feeder to the new Frances Bay substation in Darwin. The oil cable was previously a supply from the now closed Stokes Hill Power Station, and will be used to supply the new substation. 

January 2008

110kV 3 core Oil to XLPE transition joint supplied and installed in Auckland. Intertech have just completed a project with a very short lead time jointing an existing 110kV 3 core oil filled cable to a new XLPE cable to supply power to the Pacific Steel site in Auckland, New Zealand. The joint was the largest style joint from ECS/Ericsson Network Technologies. Intertech's jointing team installed the joint on time to meet the tight outage requirements of the steel mill.
